Gators get two WRs, two big JUCOs

The Gainesville (Fla.) Sun is reporting that these 14 players have signed with the Florida Gators this morning.
Will Hill, safety, St. Peter’s Prep (Jersey City, N.J.). Byran Jones, defensive tackle, Jacksonville Forrest. Sam Robey, center, Louisville, Ky. Franklin Hammond, wide receiver, Hallandale. William Green, defensive end/linebacker, Hoover (Ala.) Spain Park. Jeff Demps, running back, Groveland South Lake. Brendan Beal, linebacker, Bethlehem (Pa.) Liberty. Jeremy Brown, cornerback, Orlando Boone. Janoris Jenkins, cornerback, Pahokee. Carl Moore, wide receiver, Cordova (Calif.) Community College. Earl Okine, defensive end, Gainesville. Matt Patchan, offensive lineman, Armwood Seffner. Caleb Sturgis, kicker, St. Augustine. Troy Epps, defensive tackle, Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College.
The Gators got two of the receivers they really wanted. Frankie Hammond of Hallandale, is small (5-11, 155) but averaged 25 yards a catch as a senior. Carl Moore of Cordova Community College of California was rated as the nation’s No. 1 junior college prospect by SuperPrep.
Troy Epps, the defensive tackle from Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, is listed as the No. 24 JUCO recruit by SuperPrep.
The Gators are still waiting on WR Julio Jones of Foley, Ala., who is scheduled to announce at 12:30 p.m. Jones is also considering Florida State and Alabama.
