Florida State loses Jenkins to West Virginia

Josh Jenkins, a 6-5, 305-pound lineman from Parkersburg, W.Va., had originally committed to West Virginia but publicly decommitted after head coach Rich Rodriguez left for Michigan.

Florida State got a visit from Jenkins, a USA Today first-team All-American, and thought it had a chance to sign him.

But West Virginia announced a few minutes ago that it had signed Jenkins, who runs a 5.2 in the 40-yard dash and led his team to a pair of state AAA championships.
