Khiry Battle was a no-show at a Dacula signing ceremony this morning, when the running back was scheduled to sign with Arkansas.
Coach Kevin Maloof said Battle is at home trying to decide between offers from the Razorbacks and Ole Miss.
Battle committed to Arkansas last summer, when Houston Nutt was still the head coach. But Nutt’s recent move to Ole Miss had apparently created a dilemma for Battle.
“I’ve noticed for a while that he was really torn between a relationship with the university and the relationship with the coaching staff,” Maloof said. “If he had known [last summer that] Houston Nutt was going to be at Ole Miss in January, his decision would already be made.”
Maloof said that Battle, 5-11, 203 pounds, is trying to make a decision as soon as possible but was unsure whether he would sign today.

Good move. Petrino is probably negotiating with some other school and will not make the first spring practice. A man of his word, he’s not!

Come to a School that been in the SEC Championship Game 3 times in the past 10 years Ole Miss has not got even Close even with a Manning at the Helm. Come on and BE A HOG!

Can everyone get off the Petrino stuff. Would you say that about Rodriguez or hundreds of other coaches who have or would leave for other opportunities. It is just played, get another thing to dwell inappropriately on.
