Glenn still considering UGA; Reeeve close to naming five

Published on: 09/18/07 9:53 PM

Riverdale tackle Cordy Glenn said Tuesday night he is considering Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina.

The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Glenn, who had anticipated a commitment earlier this month, will now wait until later in the year.

“I just didn’t want to commit and change my mind,” Glenn said. “I just want to be sure I make the right decision.”

Glenn visited Georgia earlier this season.

“But I don’t have anything other visits scheduled right now,” he said.

SEC powers court Stone Mountain’s Reeves

Stone Mountain receiver Charles Reeves Jr. enjoyed a trip to Auburn just over a week ago when the Tigers hosted South Florida.

“He really likes Auburn, but he’s still considering Tennessee, Florida and Ole Miss,” Reeves’ father, Stone Mountain coach Charles Reeves Sr., said. “And now, North Carolina is kind of coming into the picture.”

Jarboe to set visit

Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, and Tennessee continue to be the front-runners to score a commitment from Cedar Grove receiver Josh Jarboe.

He is expected to visit LSU or Oklahoma on Oct. 6, a bye weekend for the Cedar Grove Saints.

Dennard leaning toward Clemson

Wilcox County cornerback Alphonzo Dennard, who recently picked up a scholarship offer from Georgia Southern, is leaning toward Clemson.

“Clemson has a good football team and coaching staff,” Dennard said.

Dennard is considering a visit to Bobby Dodd Stadium on Sept. 29 when Georgia Tech hosts the Tigers.

“I may go to that one on my own,” he said.

Hey Josh,

Get a hair cut!! Your hair looks STUPID! I wish athletics as a whole would eliminate the long hair sticking out of the back of helmets and I don’t care if it’s dreadlocks or straight. It looks stupid!! I’m glad you don’t have UGA on your list.

Hey think of your hometown schools and think about staying close so that all the people who supported you and put you in the right situation can come see you play without it being a hassle, also look at the academic side of things. Good luck to you all GO DAWGSSSS. Georgia’s motto is everyone plays so be ready.

I can’t understand why a guy who has grown up in Georgia, gone to Georgia schools would think of any other school other than Georgia. What has happened to loyality.

hey floyd the barber, Lay off the kid. What does his hair have to do with his athletic ability or his brains. You are just mad because he doesnt have UGA on the list. We should just be happy he will be able to get a scholarship. think about our youth and not yourself next time.
