Cameron Heyward of Peachtree Ridge fought flu-like symptoms as he returned home Sunday afternoon from his official visit to Georgia.
The defensive tackle attended Sunday’s Georgia-LSU game at Stegeman Coliseum, but departed at halftime.
“It was a good visit,” said Charlotte Heyward-Blackwell, who accompanied her son on his trip to Athens. “He really enjoyed spending time with his host.”
According to Heyward-Blackwell, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State all remain in contention to sign her son.
“We haven’t had a chance to narrow it down,” she said. “We’ll talk about it soon.”
Heyward plans to visit Ohio State on Feb. 2.
