Published on: 01/17/07 3:20 PM

Charleston Southern, Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Wofford are each showing interest in a trio of players from Brooks County:

* Japree Miles, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back. “Japree is a very physical kid that will probably play corner,” Brooks County coach *Ryan Branch said.

— Offensive lineman William Maxwell, who goes 6-3, 250. “We’ve probably had linemen as good as William, but nobody with his size,” Branch said.

Earnest Seay, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound linebacker and tight end who was a four-year starter at the south Georgia school. “Earnest has been an all-region tight end for us,” Branch said. “We moved him to linebacker during his senior year.”
