LSU-bound Hebert undergoes shoulder surgery, likely out next season

T-Bob Hebert, a 6-foot-3, 260-pound offensive lineman from Greater Atlanta Christian who has committed to LSU, predicts that recent surgery will likely leave him redshirted during his upcoming freshman season in Baton Rouge.

“I just had shoulder surgery on [Dec.] 20th,” said Hebert, whose father Bobby Hebert is a former Atlanta Falcon quarterback. “That will probably mean I’ll be redshirted this fall.”

T-Bob Hebert said he is firm on his decision to sign in February with LSU, which routed Notre Dame in Wednesday night’s Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

“I was actually at the game with my dad in a suite,” Hebert said. “It was an amazing experience. [LSU] really made a statement.”
