> ROAD WARRIORS: Anyone who assumed the Hawks were done with long road trips this season didn't count on this week's three-game, eight-day journey to Philadelphia (today), Indiana (Tuesday) and New York (Friday).
The Hawks left for Philadelphia after Friday's game and won't return until after that game against the Knicks.
"It's going to be a lot of hotels, a lot of room service and a whole lot of practice," Marvin Williams said, smiling. "We just can't lose our focus out there. It's been tough for us on the road this year [the Hawks are 10-27 away from Philips Arena], so we have to make sure we keep it strictly business."
> CYBERCAMPAIGN: Al Horford's Rookie of the Year campaign has gone digital.
The Hawks launched Al4ROY.com two days ago, hoping to add some spice to the Rookie of the Year race that's shaping up between Horford and Seattle guard Kevin Durant.
"Honestly, we shouldn't even have to go through all of this," Josh Smith said. "I think it should be obvious that Al is the Rookie of the Year. But it's good that we've got that out there so people that haven't seen him can get a closer look at the work he's done all year. I might have to check it out myself."
> PLAYOFF FEVER: The Hawks have yet to clinch a playoff spot. But that doesn't mean they aren't preparing. Several Hawks did commercial spots —- print and video—- for NBA Entertainment, ABC, ESPN and TNT on Thursday and Friday. Joe Johnson, Mike Bibby, Smith and Horford were included in various spots.
