> THEIRS AGAIN: The Hawks got their win back from Saturday's replay of the final 51.9 seconds of their Dec. 19 game against the Heat without either team scoring a point. It was the league's first replay game since 1983 and the Hawks celebrated like they had secured a playoff berth after winning the same game for the second time.
> STILL IN THE HUNT: Despite all the outside pressure being attached to the Hawks' surreal stretch of three games in 24 hours, Josh Childress insists their season won't be defined by wins and losses from the weekend set.
And while others have begun to seriously question the Hawks' postseason legitimacy, Childress is convinced they are postseason bound.
"We know we're that kind of team," Childress said. "I know it hasn't looked like it lately, but we know that's who we are. We've been searching for ways to shake this funk off of us and get back to playing the way we were playing earlier in the year. And it just hasn't happened yet. But there's a lot of basketball to play between now and the end of the regular season."
> THE REAL MATRIX: Heat forward Shawn Marion doesn't just wear the nickname anymore. He will go down in history as having played in two games on the same date, but in two different cities and for two different teams.
Marion scored 23 points for the Phoenix Suns in a 108-103 loss Dec. 19 in Dallas. He was traded to the Heat last month, along with Marcus Banks, for Shaquiile O'Neal.
Hawks point guard Mike Bibby would have joined Marion in the two-places-at-one-time crowd but he missed his former team's game that night. Sacramento played in Milwaukee while Bibby was nursing a thumb injury.
