Mom charged in statutory rape of babysitter

A Newnan woman has been charged with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy she hired to watch her two children.
Stephanie Der, 38, in the Coweta County jail, where she is being held without bond, a jail official said Thursday.
Der was arrested late Tuesday. She has been charged with statutory rape and cruelty to a child, the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office told WSB-TV.
Der is the mother of two children, ages 13 and 4.
The boy’s father told WSB the woman is a friend of the family.
