The loss was the second straight for Clark Atlanta (3-2, 3-2 SIAC). The Panthers were driving for a potential go-ahead touchdown in the final minute, but T.J. Smith's pass was intercepted by the Bears (3-2, 3-1) inside their 15-yard-line.
"Tonight, we didn't play like the team that just beat Fort Valley and Lane College," said Clark Atlanta coach Ted Bahhur.
