Paul Millsap fell to the floor with his arms raised and pleaded for a foul call that never came.

It should have.

The NBA released its Last Two Minutes report from the Hawks loss to the Wizards Wednesday night in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal playoff series. It found three incorrect calls, including a missed foul on Millsap with 41.3 seconds remaining.

With the Hawks trailing by four points, the final 103-99 score, Millsap got the ball from Dennis Schroder at the free-throw lane and drove to the basket. He was defended by Wizards center Marcin Gortat. Millsap's high-arching shot missed and he fell to the floor. According to the report, Gortat should have been called for a foul. The report read: "Gortat (WAS) makes contact to the body of Millsap (ATL) that affects his drive to the basket and shot attempt."

Millsap should have went to the free-throw line with a chance to bring the Hawks back within two points.

The report also found an incorrect call earlier when Gortat should have been whistled for a moving screen with 1:59 remaining. The Wizards led, 100-96, when Gortat picked Schroder. After the screen, Gortat rolled to the basket and was fouled by Kent Bazemore on a dunk attempt. He went to the free-throw line and made one of this two attempts to give the Wizards a five-point lead. According to the report, "Gortat (WAS) sets the screen on Schroder (ATL) and continues moving into him, affecting his ability to defend the play."

The report found that Gortat did not move on a screen of Tim Hardaway Jr. to set up John Wall’s jumper with 47.5 seconds left that gave the Wizards the 103-99 lead after Schroder brought the Hawks within two points on a 3-pointer. The play proceeded the non-call foul on Millsap. According to the report, “Gortat (WAS) establishes a wide screening position and absorbs the contact from Hardaway Jr. (ATL). He then moves in the same direction and path as Hardaway Jr. and briefly engages with him, but the contact is marginal.”

The report also found that Bazemore should have been called for a foul on Gortat with 12.7 seconds left and the Wizards up by the final 103-99 score. According to the report, "Bazemore (ATL) pushes Gortat (WAS) and the contact affects his shot attempt."

The report found one correct call and 12 correct non-calls.
