Paul Millsap will make his preseason debut against the Magic on Sunday – but he won’t be joined with any other regular starter.

The Hawks will rest Dennis Schroder, Kent Bazemore and Dwight Howard for the exhibition game. Kyle Korver did not make the trip to Orlando. Backup guard Malcolm Delaney will also not play.

Expect the Hawks to play the starting unit for normal or near normal minutes in the final two exhibition games –against the Pelicans at home on Tuesday and against the Bulls in Omaha, Neb. on Thursday.

Millsap missed the Hawks’ first four exhibition games while recovering from a non-surgical procedure on his right knee before the start of training camp. The power forward will see limited action in his debut, about 18 minutes.

In addition to Millsap, the Hawks started Will Bynum, DeAndre Bembry, Thabo Sefolosha and Mike Muscala.
