Thrashers prospect Jeremy Morin, a second-round draft pick last summer, made the latest United States roster for the World Junior Hockey Championships announced Sunday. The tournament will be held Dec. 26, 2009-Jan. 5, 2010 in Saskatchewan.

The current U.S. roster stands at 24 players and will be trimmed by two when the final roster is announced on Wednesday.

Morin has 44 points (21 goals, 23 assists) in 32 games for the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League.

Vinny Saponari, from Marietta and Boston University, was cut from the roster on Sunday.
