  • The Thrashers play their final road game before ending the season at home on Saturday.
  • They are 0-5 against the Capitals this season and have been outscored 24-11.
  • Ondrej Pavelec will start in goal for the Thrashers. Johan Hedberg gets the start in the season finale.
  • Nik Antropov, who will not play the final two games, and Maxim Afinogenov are tied for the team lead in goals at 24. Ilya Kovalchuk had 31 goals as a Thrasher before being traded to the Devils in February.
  • Colby Armstrong will be eligible to return after serving his two-game suspension.
  • No decision has been made whether Alex Ovechkin will play in the Capitals’  final two games. He is battling for the league scoring title and goals title. He has three goals in five games against the Thrashers this season.
