Thrashers goaltender Ondrej Pavelec returned from the Olympic break and practiced with the team Saturday. With Pavelec's return, the Thrashers re-assigned goaltender Peter Mannino to AHL Chicago.

Pavelec represented the Czech Republic in the Olympic Games, but did not play a game while backing up Tomas Vokoun.

Mannino was called up Wednesday to fill in while Pavelec was away.
