Cormier, Burmistrov to attend Thrashers prospect camp

There will be 29 prospects at the camp. Also scheduled to take part are Carl Klingberg, Daultan Leveille and Paul Postma.
The six-day camp runs through Tuesday at the IceForum in Duluth. All on-ice activity throughout the camp is free and open to the public. There will be no on-ice sessions Monday.
There will be three four-on-four scrimmages at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
Chicago Wolves assistant coach Ron Wilson and Gwinnett Gladiators coach Jeff Pyle will run all on-ice sessions.
Thrashers sign two
The Thrashers signed unrestricted free agents Jared Ross and Jaime Sifers to two-way contracts Wednesday.
Ross, 27, had 46 points (12 goals, 34 assists) in 73 games with Philadelphia’s AHL-affiliate Adirondack last season. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound center also appeared in three Stanley Cup playoff games for the Flyers. He will make $500,000 in the NHL, $105,000 in the AHL.
Sifers, 27, had eight points (three goals, five assists) in 54 games with Minnesota’s AHL-affiliate Houston last season. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound defenseman also appeared in 14 NHL games with the Wild. He will make $525,000 in the NHL, $105,000 in the AHL.
Boulton signing official
One day after Thrashers forward Eric Boulton agreed to terms on a one-year contract, the team announced the signing Wednesday. Boulton, who was an unrestricted free agent, signed for $650,000 and will play his sixth season for the Thrashers.
