Next for Hawks

Who: vs. Grizzlies

When: 7 p.m. today

TV; radio: FSSO; 790

Grizzlies Forward Rudy Gay is averaging career highs in scoring (21.3 points per game), rebounds (6.5), field goal percentage (47.8 percent) and steals (1.8).

Hawks forward Marvin Williams, who missed Monday's game with an upset stomach, said he will play. Forward Joe Smith, who has missed the past two games with a dislocated thumb, is not expected to be available.

Memphis has seven new players on the roster from last year's team. On opening night, the Grizzlies were the youngest and least experienced team in the NBA.

The Grizzlies are 4-2 in December despite playing five of their six games against teams with winning records. They are 8-6 since waiving Allen Iverson Nov. 17.

Last year, the Hawks and Grizzlies went 1-1 against each other, with each winning at home.
