Falcons’ fixes (part 3): Sign Grimes, Lofton; balk on Abe
Houston suffered a hamstring injury against the Eagles last Sunday. Brent Grimes is likely to start at his right cornerback position.
Quarterback Matt Ryan (turf toe) did not take part in practice, but did more work in the team's closed Thursday morning walk-through.
Also, running back Michael Turner (ankle) was held out of practice because Smith believes he has a chance to play on Sunday.
Center Todd McClure (knee) returned to practice, but was limited.
