Falcons' Gonzalez reaches 11,000 yards receiving

Tony Gonzalez is the 21st player in NFL history to reach 11,000 yards receiving for his career.

Gonzalez, playing in his first game with the Atlanta Falcons, reached the milestone with a 20-yard touchdown catch against the Miami Dolphins late in the third quarter on Sunday.

Gonzalez, a 10-time Pro Bowler with Kansas City, began the day with 10,940 yards receiving, a record for NFL tight ends. The touchdown catch was the 77th of his career, also a record for tight ends. It was his fifth catch of the game.
