Miranda and Kevin Russo each had three RBIs, as the winner roughed up Gwinnett starter Jonny Venters, who allowed eight hits and five earned runs in three innings.

Zachary McAllister took the pitching win for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, scattering eight hits in 5-1/3 innings.

Gwinnett scored twice in the fifth and once in the sixth. Barbaro Canizares, Brian Barton and Van Pope each had two hits.
