Minor, the seventh pick of the June draft, is 1-0 with a 2.51 ERA in five starts for the Peoria Saguaros. He had been scheduled to start Saturday night against Steven Strasburg, who was taken No. 1 overall in 2009 by the Washington Nationals, but Strasburg was scratched because of a neck strain.
Also, Joshua Fields, a former Georgia Bulldogs star reliever, has been selected to play in the game. Fields was a first-round draft choice of the Seattle Mariners in 2008.
