On Thursday, two-time Olympic gold medalist Angel McCoughtry announced her return to the WNBA and the Atlanta Dream after taking last season off to rest.

McCoughtry spoke to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and wrote a piece for “The Players’ Tribune” detailing how she feels a year after making the decision to sit out the 2017 season.

“So all I can say, for now, is — I’m ready,” McCoughtry wrote. “I’m ready to be back. I’m ready to do everything in my power to help deliver a championship to the city of Atlanta. And I’m ready to continue to support, and develop, and build up this league that I love so much.”
