Body found near Turner Field identified

The body of a man found near Turner Field has been identified as a 55-year-old man who was hit by a car, according to the Fulton Medical Examiner’s Office.

The man has been identified but his name had not been released Saturday morning because relatives had not been notified of his death.

The body was discovered shortly before 5 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of Hank Aaron Drive, about a block south of the stadium.
