AJC.com

Is ajc.com going away since you launched the new subscriber website MyAJC.com?
A: No. Our free website, ajc.com, will continue to provide breaking news, and entertainment, videos, photo galleries, plus more social media engagement and improved site navigation.
AJC.com has a large and loyal audience. We are re-invigorating ajc.com in2013 to expand that audience.
The decision to have two news websites allows the newspaper to serve two different audiences.

What are the differences between ajc.com and MyAJC.com?
A: ajc.com is designed for quick access to top headlines, news summaries and lists as well as videos, photo galleries and other features for the social media consumer. Articles marked premium – with a red “my” logo – are available in a shortened form on ajc.com. Full versions are accessible on MyAJC.com as well as through our other subscriber digital products.
MyAJC.com has a look and feel designed for readers and is exclusively for subscribers. It is organized like the printed newspaper. Subscribers get total access to in-depth local, civic and watchdog journalism. Whether you are on a computer, tablet or smartphone, the premium website adjusts automatically to your device, making it easy to read and navigate.
Each site will be updated with breaking news.

Are you putting up a paywall on ajc.com?
A: No. We developed our new premium website, MyAJC.com, because subscribers told us they wanted a website that looks and feels different from ajc.com, with total access to our in-depth content. A selection of premium content stories on MyAJC.com will be available on ajc.com in shortened form. Newspapers across the country have set up paywalls on their existing websites. We are committed to having two websites: the new premium website at subscribers’ request, and ajc.com, which will remain free and will continue to provide content to that audience.

Will there be changes to accessatlanta.com too?
A: accessatlanta.com will continue to be a free source to find entertainment across metro Atlanta. We know this site is a favorite of users who are looking for information on celebrities, events, restaurants, music, movies and more. accessatlanta.com is also the best source for listing your events – and the destination for our annual Holiday Guide.
