The refund is in the form of a voucher which can be applied to future travel within one year.

The catch? This won’t work if you’ve bought your tickets through Travelocity, Expedia, etc. It works for direct airline purchases - online or by phone - but you must phone the airline to request the refund. Also, seats in the sale ‘class of service’ must be available on your exact itinerary (as if ticketing anew).
