Georgia Tech’s 14 in-state signees are the most for the school since at least 1993.

Tech signed 20 players Wednesday, 21 overall counting defensive end Emanuel Dieke of North Clayton, who is already enrolled.

Tech signed 13 in-state players in 1999 but hasn’t taken as many as 14 since at least 1992.

“You can see how well received we are around the state,” said Giff Smith, Tech’s recruiting coordinator.

OL Jay Finch, Kennesaw Mountain

OL Antonio Foster, Valdosta
