G-Braves rocked by Columbus

Michael Brantley had four of Columbus’ 17 hits, and the Clippers defeated the Gwinnett Braves 12-0 on Saturday in Lawrenceville.
The G-Braves had scored at least nine runs a game in a three-game winning streak, but had only five hits and committed five errors Saturday. Columbus scored five runs in the fifth and six runs in the sixth.

Former Atlanta Brave Tony Graffanino had two hits. G-Braves pitcher Jerome Gamble allowed seven earned runs in 1 1/2 innings.
