I have a bad feeling about this. Our compromise for freedom was that any yahoo is free to commit insane acts because otherwise we’d have to search every person who enter every building in every city in the country. We cant. We concede that.

We need our guns. Guns and America are one. I hunt groundhogs. I love my little .22. More than once, a groundhog has ambushed me and let me know what he thinks of me and my little .22

Groundhogs can cuss you out, man. they can invoke their demon woodchuck ancestors to get medieval on your sorryass. fact. I barely escaped with my life several times over the years on that wonderful farm in oneonta new york where I hunt.

So we need our guns. America promised me my gun. Dont break that promise, America.

But lets know that our public servants are sitting ducks for lunatics. Lets spend more money on security.

Dear President Obama,

I am an ordinary American. I work 40-50 hours per week, I go to church almost every sunday, and I even pay my taxes before April 15th. I would consider myself an average American that has never been into trouble, and that followes most of the laws. (speeding). I have always been proud to be an American, and I have always flew a flag in my front yard.

The flag that I fly is an ordinary American flag, and to most people it just means America. But not to me Mr. Obama. The 13 stripes and the 50 stars represent what a lot of ordinary Americans have work for, for a very long time. We have lost many good men to keep that flag as a symbol of America. That flag has been everywhere. We had it as Washington crossed the Delaware, we had it as we invaded Normaitdy,we placed it on the moon, and we also had it atop the rubble of 9-11. So no Mr. Obama, my flag our flag and America’s flag is not just about a symbol of a country… It is a symbol of FREEDOM!

Which with freedom, brings me to my next point. Gun Laws.. All I can say is that if you want to take away my right to bear arms, or want to collect guns, I just hope it is you that shows up on my front door steps!!!! My warning to any democrat that wants my guns is: IF YOU MAKE IT PASSED MY DOG THAT MEANS YOU HAVE KILLED HIM, AND THAT IS STRIKE THREE IN MY BOOK, AND THEREFORE ALL HE!! WILL BREAK LOSE… JUST BEWARE YOU BETTER BRING THE BOYS AND PACK A LUNCH!!!!

Adventure Outdoors is a great place with a nice selection of all types of guns at competitive prices.

As liberals will likely try to eliminate the Second Amendment again, it makes sense to stock up on guns that are likely to be outlawed along with high capacity magazines.

Leftists are supposed to be a “live and let live” party but want to end the First Amendment with the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” and want to punish law abiding citizens who want to protect their families by eliminating the Second Amendment.

What other elements of the U.S. Constitution are inconvenient for you people?

While a State Senator, Obama tried to pass a law that would have jailed a citizen who shot an intruder on the SECOND occasion the perpetrator entered the home within 24 hours.

The Second Amendment is by far one of the most important rights that we have. We, the people of the United States, shall never give up our right to bare arms, nor our right to form our own militias. This is a vital check to the power of the state and federal government.
The right to bare arms is our ability as citizens to prevent a despotic government from taking over. It is not the governments right to dictate who can and cannot have guns. Our 2nd Amendment right shall never be challenged by any authority and if it is, we shall excercise our rights in order to protect the integrity of our Constitution, furthermore our freedom as citizens of our great nation.

He has no intention of giving Americans more rights. He’s going to methodically and rapidly disarm Americans.

Truly there has got to be a correlation between intelligence & gun ownership. The greater the number of guns, the lower the IQ. Gun dealers prey on the uneducated & paranoid in our society.

Everyday we read about another incident where innocent people are killed by gun owners, never about how lives are being saved by these wanna be clint eastwoods with their carelessness and machismo. They would be the saddest joke in America today, but there is nothing funny about an eight year old shooting his father, nor about another little kid blasting off his own head with an uzi.

Take the guns away from the fools that should never have had them to begin with.

but what you dont here is the gun that was used was stolen by some crack head to do these crimes they just let you belive that they just went out and bought them not all ways so . i owen about 25 guns right now i have to kids that know what guns are and how to use them and they are not toys iQ is not all ways the case .when parents hide guns in the house thats when kids get hurt they think the kids wont find them i move my change jar around and my two year old allways finds it ther smarter then alot of us think . teach them show them what they do dont hide them gun nut in oregun

I like most am a gun owner and have been for a very lng time, i grew up around guns and learned at a very early age that they aint toys and how to treat a gun. They can try to put all these new laws and restrictions on firearms, but hopefully people will act accordingly and help fight it. I am a proud member of the NRA and that is how i’m trying to defend our right, i’m not saying it’ll do the trick but i’m at least trying.

For the people saying guns kill people your as dumb as the people trying to get rid of them, I will guarantee that gun didn’t get up and shoot someone on its own. Like some have already mentiond about kids killing, there right, if parents would stop hiding these kind of things it wouldnt happen. I dont know about everyone but I have had things stolen including guns, it’s goin to happen its not our fault people do these kind of things, buy making it harder to purchse a gun or getting rid of them completly wont change a thing, think of all the other weapons out there that can and have killed people in the past.

I am also an avid hunter and if they think they are going to take my right to do that away there wrong, it is my right and everyne elsees right to do so. We honestly wouldnt be where we are today if it wasnt for guns, they alone have made a very big impression on America. I’m not saying this because of our soon to be presadent but simpley because I support our right to keep and bear arms shall ot be infringed.

Jeff, Join the NRA. They will send you information about home owners who have protected their home with their guns. They will give you facts about how conceiled weapon laws have lower rape, murder and robbery in area that have them. You will always have morons with guns, but taking them away from the educated people isn’t going to stop voilence.

I did not vote for Obama but he is our president. Dont be afraid or scared. The worst that can happen is America would have to straighten him or any other politician out that tries to take our guns. But please for the sake of your children and others dont start a linch mob for Obama ,yet. I think the important thing we need to look at in our country is what has happened to the Republican party. I am a former republican ,now Independent because the Republican party sold us out. Become an Independent and stand up against the two parties that just keep the peasants at bay while they sell us out . That is what the people of AMERICA should be concentrating on. Republicans and Democrats are a front for the monarchy that runs this country. Isnt it funny that two men from the same family have been president and one presidents wife was a very close contender for the white house. THINK ABOUT THAT IT IS NOT JUST COINCEDENCE.

We are losing, or watering down many of our rights. We have little “free press.” I am all for Obama, if he can TRULY introduce change in our Country. I will be one of those who will “wait and see.” One of my pet peeves is the defense of the Second Amendment.” Obama is very anti-firearms. I am not a hunter. I am disabled and have for many years enjoyed target shooting as a hobby. I was taught the safety rules by my family since age 9. Target shooting is much like golfing—you try to put a projectile in the bullseye of a targrt, just like golf. If you use the 9-iron as a weapon, It can be fatal. In fact the only assault of the Governor’s Ofice was made with a golf club while Maddox was in office. The offender never made it to the Governor—he couldn’t break the thick glass around his office.We need to use caution in handing out licenses for first-time shooters. The Dept of Game and fish has such a course for begining hunters. I fear that Obama’s administration will seek to ban all guns and/or ammunition. There is a quote by someone famous—I wish I could remember who it was—‘Only a government who fears it’s citizens first disarms it’s citizens. The above comments may draw jeers, but it is a very important issue for me—I am handicapped and target shooting is my only hobby. To close, and this is very true—When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
