Sometimes The Stacks may not be the place to find the information you need, especially if the information appeared in our newspaper before 1985, when our Stacks archive began. Or we may need more information before we are able to help you.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on microfilm in Atlanta

Journal-Constitution microfilm is available in many metro Atlanta libraries, including:

Indexes of articles

The Atlanta-Fulton County public library central branch has printed indexes for the Journal-Constitution beginning in 1983 to the present as well as a microfilm index to the Journal only covering the mid-1940s to 1979.

Atlanta and Environs, the multi-volume history of Atlanta by Franklin Garrett and Harold Martin, contains many citations to Atlanta Journal and Constitution articles.
