First National Credit Card Center, a subsidiary of First National Bank of Omaha, said Thursday it will close two metro Atlanta offices that employ 215 people.

The metro Atlanta jobs, to be phased out by Aug. 31, are at an operations and call center at 157 Technology Parkway in Norcross and a corporate office and technology group facility at 3490 Piedmont Road in Atlanta.

The company will move about half the positions to other U.S. locations.

Only a limited number of employees, though, will be relocated, the company said in a statement.

Most of the positions that will be transferred are in technology, custom partner relationship management, fraud, settlement and the company’s Japanese bilingual call center.

“First National Credit Card Center has grown profitably over the past three years, but like any credit card issuer today faces significant challenges,” said Stephen Eulie, president and division head of First National Credit Card Center, in a news release.
