> Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith and Bonnie Bramlett all show up for “What I Know,” longtime folk favorite Tom Rush’s first studio album in 30-plus years.
> Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, rapper-actor Mos Def, rocker Vernon Reid and reggae royalty’s Damian Marley all make featured appearances on Somalian rapper K’Naan’s “Troubadour”.
> And while we’re talking special guest, contemporary jazz drummer Norman Connors’ “Star Power” includes Atlantan Peabo Bryson, Mario Winans, Howard Hewett, Christopher Williams and Ray Parker Jr.
> Beloved blues-jazz man Van Morrison’s “Astral Weeks: Live at the Hollywood Bowl” finds him recreating the entire 1968 album in front of an audience for the first time.
