Q: Gov. Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter was supposed to get married in December. What happened? Was the wedding called off?
Shirley Zieve, Sandy Springs
A: The teenage pregnant daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her boyfriend are planning a summer wedding, according to published reports. Palin created a stir in September by announcing the pregnancy as she prepared to accept the Republican vice presidential nomination.
Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston’s baby was born Sunday. Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, according to People magazine.

Q: What has happened to Marshall Seese, my favorite weatherman on the Weather Channel? I haven’t seen him in about four to five weeks.
Frank Gonzalez, Kennesaw
A: The Illinois native retired in November. He had co-hosted the show “Your Weather Today” since it launched in January 2000. Nicole Mitchell is now co-hosting the show along with Heather Tesch.
Seese worked for the Weather Channel for more than 20 years. He counts covering Hurricane Hugo, an unusually deadly storm in 1989, as one of his most memorable assignments.
He’ll probably remain interested in the weather, since he’s a golfer and amateur photographer.
