WHERE CAN I FIND IT?

Q: We have a favorite sweet-and-sour sauce that we started using when my husband was on a salt-free diet. The brand name is Great Impressions. We couldn’t find it in the stores any longer so we ordered some, but now I have been told they no longer make this product. Do you know if anyone else has picked up this item to make? It is the best.
LOIS MURPHY, Stockbridge
A: You still can order this vivid orange sweet-and-sour sauce. Along with mustard and a salad dressing, Great Impressions also offers a hot version of the sweet-and-sour. Your sauce is available in 13.5-ounce bottles through www.mybrands.com or by calling 1-888-281-6400. There’s a three-bottle minimum and each bottle costs $4.75.
Q: Do you know where I can find Caldesene protecting powder? This is the best powder I have ever found. It goes on very smooth. It does what it says on the label: seals out wetness and protects chafed skin. It is a zinc oxide talc.
MARY AUSTIN, Mableton
A: Caldesene protecting powder, used to treat and prevent diaper rash as well as various minor irritations in adults, has a legion of faithful followers. The 5-ounce, pink shaker can costs $5.49 at Walgreens, 855 Veterans Memorial Highway, Mableton, 770-819-7869.
Q: I’m trying to organize my small kitchen and am looking for a rotating spice rack that holds around 10 or so jars. I’ve seen some that cost more than $50, and that’s way out of my price range. It doesn’t have to be fancy or anything since I’m putting it on a shelf in a pantry.
WANDA STEWART,
Lilburn
A: Wanda, I think I found the perfect spice rack for you, and it’s so inexpensive that you might end up buying one for everyone you know. Ekco’s spice rack comes with a dozen clear plastic shaker jars with white screw tops. The jars fit in plastic rings positioned along the sides of the revolving rack, which also is made of white plastic. It includes 24 pre-printed labels. While it’s not the most high-tech spice rack available, the $1.99 price tag makes it perfect for your pantry. You’ll find it at Old Time Pottery, 3625 Sweetwater Road, Duluth, 770-279-1459.
