Brantley is in the Hall County Detention Center on an unrelated charge, Smith said.

Police anticipate further arrests in the case, Smith said.

Brantley is accused of participating in the theft of a safe at the Maranatha Christian Academy. The money from the silent auction was to help the school pay for operating expenses, including teacher payroll.

The break-in was discovered May 11.
