Tyler Durden’s father described his son as “a rescuer.”
When a friend had imbibed too much and needed assistance, he called Tyler.
When an old girlfriend had a fight with her new boyfriend, she called Tyler.
“He just had that rescuer’s mentality,” said Tyler’s father, Benny C. Durden of Grayson. “I know every parent thinks [his or her child] is special, but this boy was something.”
