Atlanta police Tuesday were looking for a suspect in a fatal early-morning shooting at a southside apartment complex.
The shooting happened about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of DeLowe Drive in southwest Atlanta.

“The victim was banging on one of the apartment doors when he encountered the suspect,” said Atlanta police Lt. Keith Meadows.
“At some point, the suspect discharged a weapon at least two times, fatally injuring the victim,” Meadows said.
Police have not identified the victim, who Meadows said appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s.
Meadows said investigators were interviewing a couple of witnesses, but had not yet determined a motive for the shooting.
