Water main break snarls Midtown traffic

Atlanta officials are urging motorists to find other ways around Midtown because of a water main break at the intersection of Northside Drive and 14th Street.

The break occurred around 3:30 p.m., city officials said.

City crewsworking at rush hour to repair the main have closed one southbound lane on Northside Drive. Officials warned motorists driving through the area to expect heavy delays.
