Weeks’ dating show likely headed to TV

Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III has resurrected his new reality show —- planning on network TV instead of the Internet.

The twice-divorced Pentecostal pastor said the Christian dating series, now called “The Holy Hook Up: Who Will Be The Next Mrs. Weeks?” will document his search for a new love as he performs his daily duties as leader of Duluth-based Global Destiny International Ministries.

Weeks would not disclose what network he is negotiating with. Women interested in the show should e-mail holy hookup@bishopweeks.com.

GREATER ATLANTA

Man fleeing police hit, killed in traffic

A man killed while fleeing from Henry County police Tuesday morning faced multiple warrants from Dougherty County in South Georgia, including theft and escape, police said.

All southbound lanes of I-75 in Henry were shut down after the man was hit by a car about 10:30 a.m., police said. His name was not released because his next of kin hadn’t been found, police said Tuesday afternoon.

Bolton said the man was stopped for a routine traffic violation near Locust Grove. When the officer learned the driver had outstanding warrants, the man darted into traffic.

FULTON COUNTY

Some projects can connect to sewer

A split Milton City Council this week decided that some building projects can connect to the Fulton County sewer system even though the city and the county don’t have a sewer agreement worked out.

By a 4-3 vote, the council gave a green light Monday to projects that already are in the works, that have letters from the county telling them they can connect to sewer, and are within the defined sewer service area. The county provides sewer service to the city.
