Lisa Clark, the 40-year-old woman who got national attention for having a baby with her teenage husband, could soon settle back into married life.

Clark and her husband, who is now 17, likely will move in together in two to three weeks when the teen returns to Georgia from Texas, where he has been living with his mother, according to Judy Hayles, the teen's grandmother.

"Oh, he's coming back for her," Hayles said Monday, adding that her grandson planned to fly to Atlanta Friday but stayed in the Houston area to finish a construction job. "He's tried to move on. He's had two other girlfriends, but she keeps manipulating him and getting him to come back."

Clark was released from Metro State Prison in southeast Atlanta Friday. She served two years for helping her husband escape a group home in DeKalb County. Clark said freedom was "indescribable," but had no further comment. The couple's baby, a 2-year-old boy Clark delivered in jail, is with a foster family.

Clark's attorney, Kim Dymecki, would not comment on whether Clark has tried to see the baby since her release.

"Lisa is just getting out and has a lot of issues she needs to address," Dymecki said in an e-mail. "No firm decisions have been made."

At the same time, a tell-all book —"Betrayed: The True Life Story of Lisa Lynette Clark"— hit bookstores over the weekend.

"Sales have been brisk," said Philip Rafshoon, owner of Outwrite Bookstore and Coffee House in midtown Atlanta, which started selling the book Saturday for $14.99. "There's been a lot of interest, a lot of buzz."

In the book, Clark describes in graphic detail her torrid affair with a boy she met when he befriended her teenage son from a previous marriage. It also includes letters she sent her husband from prison.

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution is withholding the name of Clark's husband because he is the victim of a sexual assault.

Clark's whereabouts were unknown Monday. On Friday, she registered with a probation officer in Douglas County, where she lived when the crime occurred. She is now listed on the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's online sex offender registry, but a home address is not given.
