Roswell city employees will find it a little tougher to smoke or chew tobacco on the job.
The City Council on Monday enacted a new policy that prevents employees from using tobacco on city property, including in city vehicles and exterior doorways. The policy will designate approved smoking zones for employees, but these spots will be located away from common areas.

The policy was requested by the city's Human Resources department.
