31 WAYS TO SAVE
Exerciser not waiting for DVD to come outPublished on: 07/25/08
Waiting for your coffee to heat up in the microwave? Brushing your teeth? Doing your hair?
Mundane activities, for sure. But Terry Huskey, a 44-year-old hairdresser at Bang Hair Salon in Buckhead, will take these moments to do squats.

| Terry Huskey is self-motivated when it comes to fitness. He does stretches, squats – whatever – in his spare minutes. |
"It's great for the butt and lower back," he noted. "I do it while getting ready in the morning. It gets my heart rate up."
He'll sneak into the break room at work, place his hands on the counter and do them there.
He got the idea from watching late-night infomercials a few years back. "You see all these exercise ads for these DVDs," he said. "Why do I need to buy that?"
Even while on the phone with a reporter outside the salon, Huskey said he was doing stretches.
And on the road, he said he uses his luggage as weight for curls. He'll move furniture around in a hotel room so he can do dips. "You have to be creative on a trip," he noted.
