While early voting continues, you can’t vote if you are not registered. The deadline is Oct. 6, and there are various ways to register:

> Applications are available at county election offices, public assistance offices, military recruitment offices, libraries and public schools.

> You can download a form by visiting www.sos.georgia.gov/elections, then mail it to the address on the form.

> You can ask for an application by phone, letter or e-mail from the secretary of state’s office or local voter registration offices.

> You can register or renew registration when applying for a driver’s license.

> If registering by mail, your application should be accompanied by a copy of a government-issued photo ID, current utility bill or bank statement, a government check or paycheck or any government document.
