Unsolicited op-ed columns of 450 to 600 words can be emailed to Tom Sabulis, Opinion Editor. Preference is given to Atlanta and Georgia writers who focus on local and regional issues, especially education, transportation, economy, leadership and quality of life.

Op-eds should be sent as MS Word attachments as well as pasted into the body of the email. Please include the name of the author and a brief bio on both the attachment and the body of the email, with day and evening phone numbers. Columns submitted to the AJC may be published, republished and made available in the AJC or other databases and electronic formats.
