DeKalb prosecutors said a judge who made controversial rulings in a murder case should disqualify himself from any possible future proceedings because the defense lawyer represents his son in a separate felony case.
Arrests have been made in two homicides committed since May, Atlanta police said Thursday. Maurice Nesbitt, 35, was arrested Thursday in connection with the slaying of Rashawn Jackson, 34, who was found dead May 27 in her unit at the Venetian Hills Apartment complex in the 1800 block of Campbellton Road.
