Since we have a minimum wage law, I think it is only right that we also have a maximum wage law.

Someone please refresh my memory: Why doesn’t Newt still hold office in Washington? And why should we listen to what he has to say?

I voted for change. Every day, it looks more like more of the same. I feel betrayed.

When Sens. Chambliss and Isakson start voting for legislation that benefits all citizens instead of themselves and their wallets, I may consider voting for them.

Why can’t people count their blessings that they live in a free country for the moment? I don’t want to be like Cuba or Venezuela or any other country.

I just hate those new light bulbs!

I enjoy talking to smart people, people who are smarter than me, but it’s hard to find smarter people who are willing to talk to me.

My credit card company helped me out with my credit situation. Having a pretty hefty balance, I decided to not use the card until I paid off the balance. Got it paid off in just over one year and then received notice from the card company that they were canceling the card because it had not been used enough in the past year.

At least the disease people let go of their “pandemic.” The water people still insist we are in a drought worthy of Level 4 total water restrictions.

Since when did trying on bathing suits become a spectator sport?

Way to go, Cobb County. Raise your sales tax and let the seniors and poor people pay your property taxes.

These people doing the “acts of kindness” on TV. How do they act when there is no camera on them and they use their own money?

Suppose the government could place a surtax on this year’s income taxes of all those citizens who have been buying foreign cars all these years and thus participated in the destruction of the U.S. auto industry?

Banks are trying to convince us that if their credit card rates are capped, it will hurt them and us. It’s pretty messed up when your business model depends on sneaky practices and operating like loan sharks.
