A new design for H&M
Atlanta waited years for its first H&M store, and now the store is getting its first designer collection. The cheap but chic brand famed for designer duds from the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and Roberto Cavalli will feature limited-edition collections from designer Matthew Williamson. Jumpsuits, dresses, tops and more priced from $50 to $350 are part of the peacock-inspired womenswear collection, which arrives at the Atlantic Station store April 23. A second collection, for men and women, will be released in all H&M stores May 14.
Lovely bags by Loveless
This woven eel-skin Grace shoulder bag is among the pre-fall styles from Atlanta handbag designer Jada Loveless that will be on display at her trunk show April 17 at Neiman Marcus. Loveless will make an appearance at the event, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the designer handbag section. The event is free; the bag, however, will cost you $2,195.
Put on the dog
Lots of bones about it —- fans of man’s best friend will want to fetch one of the dozen highly graphic T-shirts created by Skeledog. The Atlanta company’s colorful T’s represent breeds from bassetts to greyhounds. $25 each at Youngblood Gallery and Highland Pet as well as via skeledog.com.
