"Persepolis" PG-13

This wondrous animated film concerns a young Iranian woman coming of age during the Islamic revolution. The animation is mostly in black and white, but it's surprisingly involving, with infinite shades of gray and a few guest appearances, here and there, by colors. Grade: A.

"Priceless" PG-13

A blithe French comedy about an industrious gold digger (Audrey Tautou) who mistakes a bartender for a wealthy sucker, who then decides to explore his own value as a stud-for-hire. Grade: B.
