BROOKWOOD

Girls tennis: Brookwood improved to 10-0 and 4-0 in Region 8-AAAAA with a 4-1 win over Berkmar on Tuesday at Mountain Park. Winners were Molly McClintock and Arielle Byington in singles, and the doubles teams of Hailey Denson-Nicole Hernandez and Haley Carson-Allison Barfield.

Boys tennis: The Broncos (11-0, 4-0) beat Berkmar 5-0 Tuesday at Mountain Park. Winners for the Broncos were Logan Taylor, Grayson Mills and Arvind Sekar in singles, and the doubles teams of Brace Becknell-Jon Lamparter and Zach Jones-Matt Shemanski.

Baseball: The Broncos lost for the first time this season Tuesday, 12-10 to McEachern. Leading hitters for Brookwood (7-1) were Seth Adkins (2-for-4, four RBIs), Chris Paul (2-for-4) and Ross Heffley (three-run home run).

COLLINS HILL

Boys tennis: The Eagles shut out South Gwinnett 5-0 in a match Tuesday at Rhodes Jordan Park. Winners for Collins Hill were Michael Rafizadeh, Ryan Maloney and Tommy Daniels in singles, and the doubles teams of Acy Estes-Richard Rumble and Brad Chambers-Chris Clayton. Collins Hill improves to 6-4 overall.

Baseball: The Eagles fell to 4-5 Tuesday after a 4-3 loss at Harrison. Alex Sokolowski took the loss, going five innings and allowing seven hits and two walks while striking out four. Leading hitters for the Eagles were Tommy Yeo (2-for-3, home run), Garrett Church (1-for-2, RBI), and Grant Earls (2-for-3).

Girls tennis: The Eagles shut out South Gwinnett 5-0 on Tuesday to improve to 6-4 overall. Winners for the Eagles were Erin Ensley, Morgan Wimmer and Jillian Estes in singles, and the doubles teams of Kelsey Arnall-K. Kiyomi Doscher and Kelly Sullivan-Sarah Eccles.

DACULA

Girls tennis: The Falcons improved to 6-3 and 6-0 in Region 8-AAAA with a 5-0 win over Clarke Central. Winners for Dacula were Mariel Herrera, Caitlin Hosford and Maggie Bevil in singles, and the doubles teams of Holly Knight-Stephanie Weeden and Paige Carver-Abby Crowe.

Boys tennis: The Falcons beat Clarke Central 5-0 Tuesday to improve to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in 8-AAAA. Winners for Dacula were Kevin Ramberg, Anwar Ferdinand and Robby Hendley in singles, and the doubles teams of Brandon Tucker-Zach Nelson and Ryan Meyer-Justin Rush.

GRAYSON

Boys tennis: The Rams beat Shiloh 5-0 on Tuesday to improve to 7-4 overall. Winners for the Rams were Grant Garner, Stephan Reagin and Mike Burns in singles, and the doubles teams of Tyler Rutland-Seth Webster and Eddy Bowie-Kevin Harris.

Girls tennis: The Rams improved to 8-3 with a 5-0 win over Shiloh on Tuesday. Winners for Grayson were Carrie Smith, Catherine Williams and Courtney Williams in singles and the doubles teams of Amanda Craig-Holly Craig and Morgan Smith-Caitlin Smith.

Boys soccer: Russell Gaither scored a goal with four minutes remaining to lift Grayson (6-3-1) to a 1-1 tie against Salem on Tuesday. Earning the tie in goal for Grayson was Andy Edwards.

GAC

Boys soccer: Chris Thomas scored four goals to lead the Spartans to a 9-0 win over Hebron Christian. Aldyn Royes scored two goals, and Matt Carrothers, Allen Williams and Denzel Clarke each had one. Logan Ream had two assists, while Eric Fletcher and Thomas Marro each had one. The Spartans improved to 10-1 and 4-0 in Region 6-AA.

Boys tennis: The Spartans improved to 10-1 with a 4-1 win over Walker. Winners for GAC were Chad Day and Will Lewis, and the doubles teams of Kyle Walker-Jake Montgomery and Matt Maggart-Justin Lumsden.

Girls tennis: GAC lost its first match of the season 3-2 to Walker on Tuesday. Winners for GAC (10-1) were the doubles teams of Jessica Tuggle-Rebecca Gray and Brooke Lewis-Elizabeth McMurray.

MILL CREEK

Boys golf: Shawn Yim shot a 34 and Jamison Renfroe had a 37 in a 151-155 win over Peachtree Ridge on Tuesday at Hamilton Mill.

Girls golf: Emilie Burger shot a 39 and Jennifer Worsham had a 43 in an 82-101 win over Peachtree Ridge on Tuesday at Hamilton Mill.

Girls soccer: Torie Scalera scored the lone goal for the Hawks in a 4-1 loss to Peachtree Ridge. The Hawks fell to 4-6-1.

NORCROSS

Girls golf: Hilla Lehtovuori shot a 54 in an 86-119 loss to North Gwinnett on Tuesday at Berkeley Hill Country Club.

Boys soccer: Gustavo Rey and Kingsley Morgan each scored a goal in a 2-0 win over Collins Hill on Tuesday. Jason Lewter had an assist and keeper Enrique Miranda earned the shutout. Norcross improved to 7-5 and 1-1.

NORTH GWINNETT

Girls golf: Alicia Poole shot a 42 to lead the Bulldogs to an 86-119 win over Norcross at Berkeley Hill Country Club.

Baseball: The Bulldogs broke open a 5-3 game with seven runs in the sixth inning and beat St. Pius 12-6. Jeremy Groneau, one of five North pitchers, earned the win in relief. Leading hitters for North (5-2) were Nick Jones (2-for-4, two home runs, five RBIs), Ronnie Stewart (3-for-4, three RBIs), Josh Wright (3-for-4, home run) and Jim Moreland (3-for-4, RBI, three stolen bases).

PARKVIEW

Girls soccer: The Panthers beat South Gwinnett 14-0 on Tuesday to improve to 9-0. Morgan Mitchell had two goals and two assists. Kim Spence and Kiki Nelson each had two goals. Others who contributed were Kristina Pascutti (one goal, one assist), Megan Geiger (one goal, two assists), Kansas Bayly (goal, assist), Maureen Buff (goal, assist), Emily Fitzgerald (goal), Amanda Boone (goal), Kirsten Ross (goal) Caroline Kilday (assist), Ashley Baker (assist) and Caitlyn Dial (assist). Baker, Ross, Chelsea Ramsey and Taylor Jackson split time in goal for the Panthers to share the shutout.

Boys soccer: Kofi Gyawu scored three goals to lead the Panthers to a 7-1 win over South Gwinnett on Tuesday. Brian Detweiler, Red Poppel, Carlos Antunez and Zach Spicher each scored a goal. Credited with assists were Spicher, Poppel, Antunez, Brad Boone and Durham Knight. Parkview improves to 6-3.

PEACHTREE RIDGE

Boys golf: Seth Reeves led the Lions with a 35 in a 151-155 loss to Mill Creek. Zach Estep shot a 38.

Girls golf: Valerie Kim shot a 49 to lead the Lions in an 82-101 loss to Mill Creek. Lindsey Hertel shot a 52.

Boys tennis: Peachtree Ridge (9-1 overall) remained undefeated in Region 7-AAAAA at 5-0 with a 3-2 win over South Forsyth on Tuesday. Winners were Tyler Droll, Dylan Higgins and Eric Caltabiano in singles.

Girls tennis: Peachtree Ridge beat South Forsyth 3-2 on Tuesday. Winners for the Lions were Taylor Cohen and Liz Bailey in singles, and the doubles team of Shelby Haffberger-Danielle Ledon. The Lions improve to 7-3 overall and 4-1 in Region 7-AAAAA.

Boys soccer: Greg Johnson scored four goals to pace the Lions to an 8-0 win over Mill Creek on Tuesday. Vyan Vojdani had two goals, and Steven Quintero and Andrew Green each had a goal and an assist. Keepers Tyler Young and Andrew Gagne shared the shutout for Peachtree Ridge (6-1, 4-0).

Girls soccer: Christine Watts scored all four goals in a 4-1 win over Mill Creek on Tuesday. Assists were credited to Jessie Kupstas and Alex Morgado. Keeper McCall Gardner got the shutout for the Lions (4-5, 2-2).

PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN

Baseball: David Shealy pitched a one-hitter through four innings as the Stars beat Whitefield Academy 10-2 on Tuesday. Shealy allowed one earned run and one walk, and struck out eight. Leading hitters for the Stars (7-3, 4-1) were Jon Walker (3-for-3, three runs, two stolen bases), J.D. Pullen (3-for-4, run, stolen base), Chris Wages (2-for-4, home run, three RBIs) and Addison McDowell (2-for-3, RBI).

WESLEYAN

Girls golf: Wesleyan won Tuesday against Parkview, St Pius and Centennial at the Hooch Golf Club in Duluth. Wesleyan's Taylor Blair shot 36, combined with Brooke Atkinson's 40, for a team total of 76.
