Georgia has the third largest rural student population in the country, but there is evidence these schools are in a critical state. The state’s rural graduation rate is the third lowest in the country, they have trouble recruiting high-quality teachers and the size and lack of technology in schools makes it difficult for students to access high-quality coursework.
